Beginning in March, 2014 all physicians that provide DOT physicals will be required by the Department of Transportation to become a “Certified Medical Examiner.” The physician will be required to take a course that is approved by the DOT and pass a written examination prior to being certified.
Dr. Shea completed his course work and written examination in October of 2013 and is a certified medical examiner for the DOT and listed on the DOT website.
